The inaugural Homeless Father’s Day Daddy Daughter Picnic and Dance Benefit is a public/private partnership between Frontline Community Services, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization headquartered in metro Atlanta, and E. Walter Smith’s Daddy Daughter Days, inspired by Smith’s song, “Little Girl”. The purpose of this partnership is to bring awareness and solutions to the plight of homeless single fathers. On Father’s Day, the campaign will entertain a pre-selected number of homeless fathers and family members from the metro Atlanta area, and align them with various non-profit organizations and social agencies that will work to transform their lives from Home<Less to Home>Greatness. The campaign’s main purpose is to make sure all pre-selected homeless fathers secure homes after Father’s Day with continued support to restore the family unit.
