Good Night, Sweet Dreams

I have a series called “Good Night, Sweet Dreams – Lullabies & Romantic Bedtime Expressions”

Lonely ladies and adventurous couples, to the everyday woman, weary traveler or well-coiffed socialite rave about how they like falling asleep to a hypnotic, romantic cliffhanger or a sensuous poem and soothing love songs.

“Good Night, Sweet Dreams” is the theme song for this series.

This was especially fun writing this with Wizard Jones. Soul Train Music Awards, Toni Braxton, TLC, Silk, SOS Band, New Edition, and Bell, Biv, DeVoe and is the keyboard player for Justin Bieber. He, too, is a baritone bass and we both shared a lot of great stories of how our voice has been able to open a lot of, umm, doors.

I wrote a simple melody and chorus so that almost anybody would be able to sing it.  In fact, I think I recorded and re-recorded the song three times to make sure that the song would actually allow you to sleep, versus concentrating on how many notes were in the run I sang and trying to figure out the background harmonies.
