“Learn the Secrets to Getting Young Adults to Vote!” (VIDEO)
Hey Everybody,
I’m E. Walter Smith and I want to help you get ready for the big question that is going to come up during one of your upcoming Daddy Daughter Days.
Not the “Who you gonna vote for Daddy?” question.
But the “Why are you gonna vote for him or for her?
In fact, I think a lot of you should ask your little girl who they would vote for and why?
See , this will give you a chance to put some meat and meaning behind your emotions for getting involved in the voting process.
The pandemic, the economy, social media, and the school situation have really given our kids an inside look on what happening around the world. I’m sure their answers will really surprise you. In fact, you’ll probably learn a lot from them… they might even change your mind about some of the candidates.
So, if you are Dad, Papi, PPop, Grandpa, that cool Uncle or cousin or even like me, Mr. E … OR if you are forever a Daddy’s Girl and know how important it is to have this conversation do me a favor…You know what… better yet, do yourself and your community a favor.
Post a video of you having that conversation giving 2 or 3 reasons why you’re going to vote in November. I think the impact that you’ll have on those watching it will be powerful and will inspire them to do the same thing. (If you don’t live in the same house record a Zoom call or whatever platform you use.) Even if you don’t post a video, post the reasons that you both talked about.
You can even share the “We’re Gonna Vote!” flyer so that it’s easy for people see your post.
Now, I know most Daddy Daughter Days are filled with eating ice cream and having fun. But every now and then you gotta have those conversations that will make you both better people and the world a better place!
